Granada, 12th century. The Almohad dinasty from Morocco was taking control of Granada. The 15 years old young governor, son of the caliph, came to the city and felt in love with Hafsa al Rakuniya, who was in charge of the education in the Court. She was a brilliant woman famous by her culture, beauty, intelligence, and strong personality.
She was already famous throughout the Islamic world for her revolutionary education system, but also for the quality of her satirical poetry and specially for her romance with the great poet Yafar ibn Said. A relationship that kept the entire kingdom in suspense, due to the involvement of the young governor. The three of them started a conflict with terrible consequences.
Today it is possible to admire the rest of the palace where the story took place. The fortifications that protected the castle and the city over the spectacular landscape of Granada.
